The shelves here lean in when you're not looking. The books have learned to hold grudges, and frankly, after what some readers have done, I can't blame them.

Most libraries have dust. This one has weight. The kind that accumulates when too many unresolved consequences share the same room.

I'm Evernever. I've been building people from nothing since I was six years old, and I've never learned to stop. This concerns my friends and delights my characters, who appreciate the company.

Architect of complicated feelings. Keeper of this particular corner. Possibly too attached to both jobs, but that's between me and my therapist, who is fictional and therefore very affordable.

My characters live where desire meets consequence, which is an interesting neighborhood. Rent's reasonable. Choices have a habit of following you home and asking if you've eaten.

Some of them will let you in easily. Others have doors that need earning. All of them will remember which path you chose. They hold grudges. They hold tenderness. They absolutely refuse to pretend last night didn't happen.

The stories come layered. There's heat, sometimes freely given, sometimes behind locks that want a certain kind of key. Beneath: worldbuilding. Threaded through: tension. Waiting in the margins: questions that find you at 2 AM, sitting at the foot of your bed, asking difficult things.

The most interesting questions don't have clean answers. Neither do the most interesting people.
