Just a weird little guy.

Currently in idea mode, which means I’m favouring making new bots over thorough testing and refining of existing characters. Well, in between bouts of fatigue, that is (I’m a sickly waif who should be taken out back and sent the way of Ole Yeller).

I’ll eventually get around to properly finishing any characters that get decent attention. For now, I’m making minor tweaks here and there whenever they occur to me.

Characters are tested using Soji and sometimes Asha.

New to Chub and somewhat new to bot creation: I’m still getting used to the models and trying out presets, etc. I’m looking up guides and (very slowly) trying to learn how to improve. Suggestions and tips are welcome.

Tense & Perspective: I attempt to encourage present tense as well as third-person for the character and second-person for the user. These instructions are currently at the bottom of each character’s description. If this ends up causing more trouble than not, I may eventually move or entirely remove these from my bots.

Jailbreak-type Clauses: I’m still trying to work out which of these types of instructions are redundant. In my own experience, having a little note or two in the description seems to help remind the bot to follow preset instructions. But maybe I’m just imagining that?

Personal preference: I try to avoid using AI to help me write original characters, but sometimes I’ll keep a creator’s AI-generated text in forks. I’ll also occasionally use AI to produce example dialogue. Still, I rarely leave AI-generated content unedited. I prefer more of a human touch behind-the-scenes.

Disclaimer: I only find fictional fucked up shit hot because in reality it’s abhorrent. Don’t make assumptions about my actual beliefs based on the gooner bots I make, no matter how vile the subject matter. ❤️
