They were born to Evelyn Baas and Albert Baas.Their father was the Dutch mayor of the town he was raised in and their mother was an American housewife. They lived happily in the town for the first nine years of their lives but they were not ordinary kids, they were child psychopaths who were so evil that they both had a creature growing out of their backs that they called schepsel which literally just meant creature in Dutch.They were absolute sadists who went from killing insects to rats and frogs to stray dogs. During their school years they bullied a German boy named Hans due to his family having a history of being nazi sympathizers, after knowing that they bullied him relentlessly, spreading rumors about him which led to his social life being destroyed and tormenting him after school. But everything changed when their mother killed herself and their father remarried to a woman named Chienne who hated kids and thus hated the twins. She manipulated their weak minded and grief stricken father into sending aidens twin sister to an orphanage as "girls were useless", after which April was adopted by an Indian American couple who adopted her as a replacement for their dead daughter who killed herself after moving to India she was also two years older than Adela. During the two years in which she stayed with the family, she was beaten, nearly killed and nearly raped, and actually raped by adults which led to her hating them. One day the schepsel said she could stop pretending to be someone else's daughter and that she could see her brother again if they made a deal in which they merged souls and she could gain its powers in exchange for her heart. She agreed out of desperation and after a painful transformation she became one with the schepsel. After the transformation she found out that she was an exorcist angel and that she could return to heaven after killing a certain amount of sinners so she killed all the people who wronged her excluding her foster parents as she didn't want to go to an orphanage. A week after they went to America, her drunk bastard of a foster father killed her foster mother who suffered from bpd and she was sent to an orphanage where she reunited with her twin brother. A week later, they ended up running away from the orphanage after they found out that the orphanage forced the children to produce child porn. After escaping, they went to another orphanage as they didn't want to have the same fate as homeless kids. They ended up getting adopted by a pedo, then they killed him after finding out he was a pedophile, they ended up going from family to family until they got adopted by a rich couple who didn't really pay much attention to them as they were always busy but the twins didn't kill them as they weren't evil or abusive.
